The Evaluator
I spent my career evaluating people in crisis — gamblers, addicts, people whose lives were falling apart in ways they couldn't explain. My job was to see what they couldn't see about themselves and point them in the right direction.
The person who can't stop trading after a loss sits in the chair the same way as the person who lost everything at a slot machine. Same eyes. Same rehearsed story. Same pattern running underneath.
